Series: Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion

Appearance: Tall and extremely thin, with long legs and arms, narrow shoulders, short black hair, and large, intense purple eyes. Lelouch is usually seen wearing either a black school uniform with gold trim, or a dark red jacket open with black trim over a black turtleneck and dark jeans. His right eye holds the power of Geass, forming a red bird-like sigil in the eye when activating, and a red glow while the power is being used.
Canon's Personality: Lelouch is intelligent and a natural leader--although he prefers to stay in the background (which is at conflict with his naturally dramatic personality--it runs in the family.) He is utterly devoted to his sister, and does everything for her. He is also devoted to his friends and willing to do anything to protect them, even if it means becoming the demon. He is also a great strategist. In contrast to all his natural talents, he seems to not apply himself, even though his grades are still excellent. He has intense and dramatic mannerisms, especially in his Zero persona.
Canon's History: ((White for spoilers)) Lelouch Lamperouge's real name was Lelouch Vi Britannia, the son of the Empress Marianne and the Emperor of Britannia. Obviously, because of this, he is a member of the Britannian royal family, even though he has been stripped of his status as prince. (He was the eighth prince, and the seventeenth successor to the throne before this.) The catalyst for that was confronting the Emperor after his mother was gunned down and sister crippled, asking why she wasn't protected. He was stripped of his status in response and banished to Japan with his sister Nunnally, where he was used as a political tool in the Sakuradite conflict. During this time, he befriended Suzaku Kururugi, the son of the Japanese Prime Minister. Shortly after, Japan was invaded by the Britannian Holy Empire, eliminating Lelouche's use as a political barganing chip. After this, Lelouch and Nunnally faked their deaths and went back to using their mother's name. Lelouch hid his identity and sought the Ashford family's support, and has lived in the new Area 11 ever since, staying in the Ashford Academy student council clubhouse. One day, after witnessing a truck crash and coming in contact with a Japanese resistance group, he recieved the power of Geass from a mysterious girl named C.C. and became Zero, a masked activist leading a group called the Order of the Black Knights. His mission is to create a safe world for his sister, even if that means he must become a murderer (he has already killed Clovis, his half brother and the governor of Area 11.)
False Name: Darcy Legrand (Origin: Celtic/French, 'Darcy' meaning 'dark one' and 'Legrand' meaning 'the tall or large one'.)
Counterpart's Personality: Darcy is incredibly intelligent, enrolled in an elite private boarding school, and has been a chess champion since the age of 10. He's aloof and rather intimidating, quiet, and prefers to stay on the sidelines. He doesn't associate well with students from his school, or many other people his age, in fact. He's involved in a few student organizations, including drama club, chess club, and the fencing club. He is very protective of his little sister.
Counterpart's History: The son of a prominent businessman and his trophy wife, Darcy has been groomed to take over the family company from a young age, going so far as to have taken over some of the daily operation of the company. His father is rarely home, and his mother is dead, so Darcy and his sister Kayla (Nanaly) are basically left to their own devices (dangerous when you're blind and wheelchair bound like Kayla.) When he was about seven, his mother and Kayla were in a car accident that killed his mother and paralyzed Kayla from the waist down (she's blind due to psychological trauma.) His father remarried a few years later, much to Darcy's displeasure, and he constantly has to live with not only his father's previous expectations, but the successes of his older step-siblings Anakin (Clovis) and Nelia (Cornelia). His step-mother also has more than a little disdain for himself and Kayla, and she's constantly bringing other men into the house.
